Residents and the community are advised of the facilities’ schedules below.

Here are the schedule of operation and closures for council facilities over the Easter weekend.
Mackay Regional Council Customer Service Centres
Closed Good Friday, March 29, reopening Tuesday, April 2.
Emergency calls will go through to the after-hours call centre.
Artspace Mackay
Closed for critical facility maintenance until June 2024.

The box office will be closed Good Friday, March 29, reopening Tuesday, April 2, at 9am.
Tickets to upcoming events can be purchased online at themecc.com.au.
Mackay Regional Council Libraries
Closed Good Friday, March 29, reopening Tuesday, April 2.
Online collections are open 24/7 by visiting www.mackay.qld.gov.au/e-library
Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens
The Botanic Gardens Visitor Information Centre, Tropical Shade Garden and Fernery will be closed Good Friday, March 29, and will reopen on Tuesday, April 2.
The Botanic Gardens Café and Lagoons Gallery will be closed Monday, March 25 and will reopen on Wednesday, April 3.
Ken Burgess Orchid House
Closed Good Friday, March 29, reopening Tuesday, April 2 from 10am to 11am.
Resource Recovery Facility Operated by Incredable LTD
Closed Good Friday, March 29, reopening Saturday, March 30.
Sarina Neighbourhood Centre
Closed Good Friday, March 29, reopening Tuesday, April 2.
Sarina Sugar Shed
Closed Good Friday, March 29, reopening Saturday, March 30, at 9am.
Sarina Youth Centre
Closed Good Friday, March 29, reopening Tuesday, April 2.
Waste Services
Bin collections will continue as usual over the Easter break. Council’s waste facilities will be open as per their normal operating hours, except the Incredable Ltd Resource Recovery drop-off facility and Tip Shop, which will be closed on Good Friday, March 29.
