Australia’s Largest Pump Track at Pizzey Park, Gold Coast
The Gold Coast has opened Australia’s largest asphalt pump track at Pizzey Park, a $1.7 million project spanning 5,500 square meters, with 2,000 square meters dedicated to riding surfaces.
This new pump track is designed for BMX and scooter riders and features 50 jumps, three wall rides, and various berms and rollers, providing a unique training ground for riders of all skill levels.
The pump track complements the park’s existing world-class skate park, which underwent a major extension in 2022.
Councillor Nick Marshall noted that this new addition would serve as a training ground for future BMX and skateboarding champions preparing for the upcoming Brisbane Olympics.
The track was designed by Queensland-based World Trail and received funding from the Queensland Government’s Tourism Experience Development Fund.
With its extensive features and innovative design, the new pump track is set to become a significant attraction for extreme sports enthusiasts and a valuable asset to the Gold Coast’s sporting community.
