Queensland Police have issued a public appeal for assistance in locating a 14-year-old boy who was reported missing from Beaconsfield in Mackay a week ago.
The boy was last seen on Camellen Street at approximately 2 pm on Sunday, March 24. The last contact with him was reported on Friday, April 5.
Both the authorities and the family of the missing boy are deeply concerned for his welfare, particularly given his young age.
They are also looking into the circumstances surrounding his disappearance, which are considered out of character.
Described as Caucasian, approximately 160cm tall, with a proportional build, the boy has brown hair and hazel eyes.
He may be identifiable by a black cap adorned with a black and white logo, and he could also be carrying a dark green “Billabong” backpack.
Police are urging the missing boy to make contact or for anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.
Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could prove crucial in locating him and ensuring his safe return home.
