The Redland City Council has partnered with Australian music industry professionals for an upcoming event aimed at empowering young musicians on the Redlands Coast.
Scheduled for April 5 at the Redland Performing Arts Centre, FutureBeat will feature artists like Ella Hooper, Leanne DeSouza, and rapper Sachem.
The event targets individuals aged 15 to 17, offering practical skills crucial for success in various music industry roles.
Organised in collaboration with YMCA Redlands and local youth, FutureBeat includes a panel discussion, round tables, and workshops providing insights from industry leaders. Council’s Creative Arts Service Manager, Bradley Rush, emphasises that FutureBeat is more than an event; it’s a platform for growth, offering participants opportunities to overcome barriers and thrive in the industry.
Ella Hooper’s performance at RPAC on the event evening adds an exciting dimension, providing a unique opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with the next generation of musicians and industry professionals.
