Dr. Prins Ralston, the Chief Executive Officer of Townsville City Council, has tendered his resignation, effective as of Friday, May 10, 2024.

Dr. Ralston, who has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Townsville City Council since 2020, has expressed gratitude to the council’s team of over 1,800 individuals for their unwavering support and commitment throughout his tenure.

Under his leadership, Townsville has witnessed significant growth despite challenging circumstances, positioning the city favourably for continued progress.

Mayor Troy Thompson praised Dr. Ralston’s professionalism and dedication in serving the Townsville community.
