Local Contemporary Art Prize at the Sunshine Coast
This year’s Local Contemporary Art Prize at Caloundra Regional Gallery features 40 local artists competing for the $10,000 Best in Show Acquisitive Award.
The exhibition, running from March 22 to May 5, includes diverse 2D and 3D artworks. Join the exhibition launch on March 21 for the winners’ announcement and a chance to mingle with artists.

Originally named Local Artist – Local Content, the annual art prize was started by Friends Regional Gallery Caloundra Inc. (‘Friends’) in 2014, and now in its tenth year, it’s revitalised as the Local Contemporary Art Prize, reflecting the present-day essence of Sunshine Coast artists
