The Brisbane City Council is set to engage the community in consultation regarding the planned North Brisbane Bikeway: Price Street to Kedron Brook project.
North Brisbane Bikeway Project
The Queensland Government and the Brisbane City Council have undertaken the joint delivery of the North Brisbane Bikeway, establishing a crucial link between the CBD and Brisbane’s northern suburbs.
The stretch connecting the North Brisbane Bikeway on Dickson Street to the Kedron Brook Bikeway is an important but missing component in the northern region of Brisbane. Completing this project will give the community a bikeway to enjoy and appreciate.
The extension of the North Brisbane Bikeway route aims to create a safe and accessible way to travel for both bike riders and pedestrians alike.
Community consultation
The Brisbane City Council is preparing for a community consultation regarding the North Brisbane Bikeway: Price Street to Kedron Brook project.
They are inviting community members to submit an Expression of Interest for them to participate in the consultation.
They encourage the participation of residents, business owners, commuters, local organisations, and individuals with ties to the local area.
The goals of the working group are:
- ongoing community engagement in the project
- input and suggestions from diverse community members for well-rounded project outcomes
- enhanced awareness of the project
- swift and efficient responses from the project team to address community concerns.
The initial working group meeting is expected to take place on a Saturday in early April 2024. There will be another working group meeting after the initial one.
Attendance at both sessions is required.

Council will review all submissions, and you might be contacted for additional information to help in the review process.
Successful participants will receive notification both by phone and in writing, no later than March 22, 2024.
