A high-end Lamborghini sports car sustained significant damage when it hit a power pole on the Gold Coast.
The incident occurred around 6:30 pm Sunday when the sports car veered over the curb, snapping a power pole in half at a Bundall service station on Ashmore Road.
The 40-year-old male driver received treatment for minor injuries from paramedics at the scene.
As a result of the crash, the nearby road was temporarily closed to traffic.
Following the incident, the damaged Lamborghini was towed away, and the lanes were reopened shortly afterwards.
