Toowoomba Regional Council’s online real estate portal has reported a record high number of users trying to take advantage of it.
The portal, which is operational around the clock allows real estate agents and solicitors to access comprehensive property information, including rates, charges, and specifics related to any property within the region, utilising the lot on plan on each property.
Ann-Marie Johnson, General Manager of Finance and Business Strategy at TRC, noted that in recent months, the portal has been receiving nearly 1000 hits per month, indicating its increasing popularity and utility.
The portal was launched last March 2021 and steadily gained popularity and usage up to the present.
The portal enables users to search using lot on plan details, offering comprehensive information such as property location, description (lot on plan), half-yearly rates, water charges, outstanding balance, current water meter readings, land area, and land valuation.
The portal is accessible and for free at www.tr.qld.gov.au/realestateportal.
