Peter Fitzpatrick, a member of the Toowoomba Art Society, presents his bold retrospective exhibition titled ‘Out on a Limb’ at the Crows Nest Gallery, running from April 3 to 28, 2024.
“Out on a Limb” playfully embodies Peter’s ethos of daring exploration, defying conventions to embrace new ventures.
Featuring a curated retrospective spanning a decade, the exhibition showcases paintings and mixed media works highlighting limbs, trees, and figurative forms, symbolising poetic extensions beyond physical boundaries.
With a focus on simplicity and the beauty of limbs and shadows, viewers are led to contemplate emotions and engage in dialogue.
Peter’s artistic journey includes participation in McGregor School workshops and regular exhibitions. He is a member of the Toowoomba Art Society.
The exhibition opens on Sunday, April 7, at 11 am, welcoming all to join the free event featuring guest speakers Bill Morton and Charlie Boyl.
The exhibition requires no booking.
