Mackay’s Key Solutions Group Secures $500,000 from Queensland’s Manufacturing Hubs Grant Program (MHGP).
Key Solutions Group and the MHG Program Grant
Mackay-based Key Solutions Group is set to enhance its manufacturing capabilities thanks to a grant from the Queensland Government.
The funding will facilitate the purchase and installation of two Motoman AR1440 series welding robots, Power-Trac seam finders/trackers, and rotary screw compressors.
This investment is projected to generate up to eight new job opportunities while also providing upskilling opportunities for 28 existing employees, contributing to the company’s growth trajectory.
With this investment, production costs are anticipated to decrease by 30%, alongside stimulating private sector investment exceeding $1.2 million.
The $500,000 funding came from Round 3 of the Queensland Government’s Manufacturing Hubs Grant Program.
