The Gold Coast-founded small business Black Hops, now under the control of accountancy firm Deloitte as of Monday, has not disclosed the reasons behind its decision, citing having only “no alternative”.
Despite entering voluntary administration, award-winning Queensland brewer Black Hops (BH) pledges to maintain the operation of its taprooms.
The potential closure of Black Hops would significantly impact southeast Queensland’s food and beverage landscape, with establishments in Burleigh, Biggera Waters, and East Brisbane contributing to the region’s culinary diversity since 2016.
