Experience Gold Coast, an Australian CVB, has rolled out the initial instalment of a three-part video series aimed at enticing international meetings, conferences, and incentive travel programs to the city, bolstering its visitor economy.

The video endeavours to showcase the diverse array of creative event spaces, purpose-built infrastructure, and myriad experiences available in the city, complemented by accommodation options set amidst 57km of coastline and 100,000 hectares of ancient rainforest.
According to the bureau, the Gold Coast stands as Australia’s imagination capital, where any envisioned event can come to life.
The video initiative receives backing from Tourism Australia’s Business Events Advance Programme, aimed at amplifying the quantity and significance of international business events in Australia.
Over the following weeks, two additional videos in the series are set to debut, with a specific focus on the association and incentive travel sectors.
There are reports that Experience Gold Coast has already garnered significant interest, securing 105 business events valued at approximately A$196 million (US$129 million) between now and 2030.
