Chances are, anyone who has lived in Brisbane has fond memories intertwined with the iconic Brisbane Arcade.
It has always been in the mind of anyone in Brisbane and will be for more years to come.
Brisbane Arcade History and Celebration
Deeply entrenched in Brisbane’s heritage, it boasts famed stained glass windows and captivating interiors.
Since its inception in 1924, Brisbane Arcade has been a bustling centre of style, attracting locals for fashion, tailoring, dining, and jewellery.
Now, a century later, it remains a quintessential landmark, drawing shoppers seeking a blend of old-world charm and tradition in their shopping escapades.
This year marks 100 years since the Brisbane Arcade opened its doors to the public.
On Friday, April 19th, customers and supporters will assemble outside Brisbane Arcade on Queen Street Mall for a cake-cutting ceremony featuring Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner.
Giveaways and entertainment spanning various eras will be featured. All are also welcome to join the group photo for posterity’s sake.
I will be a day dedicated to reminiscing and celebrating Brisbane Arcade as it celebrates 100 years of making memories with Brisbane.
