Pittsworth Waste Management Facility Gets New Weighbridge

In the coming months, the Pittsworth Waste Management Facility will undergo a significant investment with the installation of a new weighbridge.

Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) will comply with Queensland Waste Disposal Levy legislation by installing a weighbridge at the facility.

Mayor Geoff McDonald assures minimal disruptions during construction, benefiting users.

Thanks to a $331,250 grant from the Department of State Development, Local Government, and Public Works under the Levy Ready grant program, the Toowoomba Regional Council is gearing up to unveil the new weighbridge early in the new financial year.
